Countries list with higher deficits and current account surplus

Largest world current accounts deficits in 2008 (source: FT)
Spain is the second largest global economy in terms of current account deficit (trade deficit + – entry and exit of capital). Just beyond the USA in absolute terms but the U.S economy it’s a much bigger economy. In relative terms of GDP, very few countries exceed 10%.

Net exporting countries, in commodities or in industrial products, are those who benefit from huge surpluses.
